Introductory metals class final project - a coatrack with a minimum of 3 places to hold clothes and 3 welds. PROCESS
First, ordered 1in steel tube from local steelyard and segments. Used Diacro bender to bend curves, then MIG welded and ground the stairstep stretch with angle grinder. Welded bottom stretchers to stairstep portion and back curve, and then held assembly in place to weld stairstep and back curve together. Ground and sanded welds and applied paint job.
